Overview

The Cyber Resilience Programme (CRP). CRP is a transformation programme focused on comprehensive change over a 10 year period, looking to achieve material risk reduction against the unacceptable Cyber Security Defence Board risk and fix known cyber gaps and vulnerabilities. The Business Analyst role will support the extant teams with development of their work streams in what are expected to be high tempo, strategically important and key stakeholder engagement posts. The work shall require an organised and motivated individual to assist with requirements analysis, development of options and to make recommendations.There may be occasions where this work will surge into other Business Analysis work streams.

Specific job skills

  •  Co-ordinate and run requirements/elaboration workshops.
  •  Document User Stories.
  • Create clear Acceptance Criteria for User Stories.
  •  Backlog Development: Create, assess and work with Stakeholders regarding their requirements.
  •  Requirement analysis and develop options with clear recommendations.
  • Engage and liaise with multiple complex stakeholders.
  •  Research of active Cyber Defence tooling.
  •  Map analysis to Benefits.
  • Interface with accreditation process.
  • Lead the effort to ensure compliance with the relevant rules of JSP604 for Interim Authority to Operate (IAtO.)
  • Own the responsibility of populating and managing the Technical Release Readiness Assessment (TRRA.)
  • Identify and document the specific rules within JSP604 that apply to the project.
  • Create a structured catalogue of evidence and documentation requirements for each relevant rule.
  • Engage with team members to obtain the necessary evidence and documentation required for JSP604 compliance.
  • Foster a collaborative environment where team members understand their roles in providing evidence and the importance of compliance with JSP604 rules.
  • Establish regular communication with the owners of the JSP604 rules to clarify requirements, seek guidance, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Collaborate with the rule owners to address any questions or concerns related to rule compliance.
  • supports/has experience in TRRA and 604 clearance for the SbD/SiD platform.


Essential skills and experience

  • Understanding of Agile techniques.
  • Strong written English.
  • Strong stakeholder and communications skills.
  • Experience of business analysis regarding networks and security.
  • Experience of developing use cases and user stories.
  • Strong presentation skills.

Desired skills and experience

  • Working knowledge of MOD and Government agencies.
  • NIST familiarity.
  • Security architecture background.
  • Security delivery experience.
