Career Highlights • A member of Mouchel’s senior leadership team. He has previously been a member of the Boards of Mouchel Management Consulting and the MCA Council. • Leading one of the world’s largest management consultancy project (NHS National Programme for IT) which successfully delivered over 100 projects to over 100,000 NHS users • Leading the transformation of a Local Authority delivering £326m of savings over ten years • Establishing LogicaCMG’s HR shared services practice – now one of the UK’s most successful shared services businesses (CGI) • Project managing the launch content development of UK online portal (now GOV.UK) for BT • Launching the first online Geographic Information System (Temisia) • Developing the first shared service within the NHS (now the NHS Shared Business Services joint venture with Steria) • Designing a new and innovative funding regime for English Partnerships’ investments; • Successfully running a £bn gain-share procurement; and regenerating Manchester City Centre including the Eastlands / Etihad Stadium. • Led the programme with Bournemouth Borough Council that was a key factor in the Council’s shortlisting (finalist) for the LGC council of the year award where they stated “The partnership with Mouchel and programme of transformation will lead to a saving of up to 40% of the council’s revenue budget over its initial ten-year life”
Experience He has a broad set of business skills covering strategy, leadership, business development, relationship building, account management, operational delivery and practice management. He has successfully delivered a wide variety of transformation programmes: as a big-four consultant helping clients transform the services they provide and the way those services are delivered; as a leader of a service delivery organisation within the outsourcing industry with P&L responsibility; and through leading a consulting business with over 150 staff. His operational management experience includes leading 420 staff delivering front, middle and back office outsourced services (~£25m pa revenue); leading a team of 150 business consultants (~£30m pa revenue); managing vertical market areas for a consulting business (~£9m pa); and managing and developing key accounts.
