Profile

  A highly experienced Human Resources and organisational development specialist with significant experience in various Director positions. This associate has an extensive background in initiating and implementing major change and mobilisation programmes as well as assuming HR lead for a number of large ((£10m - £100m+) commercial bids in transport and facilities management.

Achievements:

  • Has a 7/8 win success rate on bids
  • Industrial Relations Strategy – established a partnership agreement with Bob Crow of the RMT union in ‘08 and successfully led on negotiations, which resulted in first ever three year deal for DLR
  • Successful completion of all HR and organisational change deliverables for new Franchise: including organisational re-design, Employee Engagement Programme and delivery of Equality & Inclusion framework and objectives (Company subsequently became regarded as a leader in this field)
  • HR lead of successful transition/mobilisation to new Franchise: including all consultation and negotiations with RMT union and Company Council, restructuring of a number of departments and redundancies. All changes were implemented as per bid and without any industrial unrest
  • Implemented a variety of people management projects which had a significant impact on staff morale, and led to a step improvement in employee engagement scores
  • Has had a number of articles on quality management systems, organisational change, and self-managing teams published in national professional magazines

Experience: Has worked in non-unionised and heavily unionised environments. Key skills include organisational redesign , TUPE transfers (500 - 1100 staff), redundancies and employee engagement strategies.

He has worked in the UK, the Netherlands, Europe and US. He has a strong track record of engaging, influencing and aligning all stakeholders within challenging HR/business settings including equality and inclusion, industrial relations and employee engagement policies.

This associate is a native Dutch speaker and is also fluent in English with a good command of German and French.
