A professional, well qualified, and accomplished Chartered Engineer and Operations Director.  More than 20 years' experience of, and expertise in, directing, planning, managing and coordinating finite resources (both physical and financial) and human capital to meet complex, challenging projects and programmes across diverse commercial (public and private) sectors. Adept at managing risk, compliance and change while maximising business resilience to provide robust services in support of a dynamic and flexible response.  

Career Highlights:

  • Effective succession planning, development and talent management of 350 senior Royal Air Force engineering and logistics officers to fit performance and business objectives

  • Design and implementation of a performance management regime for capability planning.

  • Management of the provision of engineering and logistics services to a major Royal Air Force station, leading a dispersed multi-disciplinary team of 600 military and civilian personnel

  • Member of a multi-disciplinary project team responsible for delivering air-to-air refuelling and air transport services through a £13bn Private Finance Initiative contract

  • Responsible for the engineering and logistic support of the Royal Air Force's aerobatic team, The Red Arrows, for 2 display seasons.

Experience: Experience has included safety critical environments such as aerospace engineering, and formal roles within Ministry of Defence Integrated Project Teams. Has led teams of over 600 personnel and managed budgets of up to £11m.
